The New E-Shop

The first album by the Italian Harmonists, a vocal group that had the idea of re-proposing a quintet of harmonised male voices accompanied by a piano. The intuition was born within the musical reality of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan when some colleagues of the Chorus became enthusiastic about the harmonisations and interpretative style of the 'Comedian Harmonists', a Berlin vocal group that had reached high peaks of international success in the 1930s, before the Nazi racial laws interrupted their career (three members of the 'Comedians' were in fact Jews).
