Aldo Finzi's Psalm for choir and orchestra is one of the composer's most interesting works. Composed between 1944 and 1945, the psalm is inspired to thank the Lord for the salvation obtained for his son and himself and to express the certainty of divine protection; the entire psalm glorifies the Lord's goodness. The score for choir and piano is reproduced here in manuscript form.
Il Salmo per coro e orchestra di Aldo Finzi è una tra le opere più interessanti del compositore. Composta tra il 1944 e il 1945 è ispirato per ringraziare il Signore della salvezza ottenuta per il figlio e per sé e per esprimere la certezza della protezione divina; tutto il salmo glorifica la bontà del Signore.
