Dedications and contemporary musicIn 2006, he premiered the Red Priest Trio by Maestro Danilo Lorenzini, who also dedicated his 'Studies' for piano to him, at the Circolo Filologico Milanese in Milan. Paolo Rimoldi, professor of composition at the Conservatorio 'G. Verdi' in Milan, dedicated a piano piece from the suite 'Canti per il pasto dell'Orco' to him. CompositionsHis compositions, which range from electronic music to vocal research, are published by Preludio in Milan: the piano album May Day (2013), Urkesh Suite (2014) - a work linked to Syria and the war conflict, Sonata 4 pulsations (2015) - with the voice of actress Franca Grimaldi, Increspature and Light Song (2017), Mosaics (2018) inspired by the mosaics of the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare in Classe in Ravenna. Emulsione a Teatro is instead a play for which he devised texts and music, inspired by the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, staged at the Teatro Spazio Bixio in Vicenza with the Compagnia Theama Teatro. For years, he has been forming the duo EisenRose with the Korean mezzo-soprano Oh Hyun Jung, dedicating himself in a special way to the lieder repertoire of the German area. September 2020 saw the release of his new disc "Notturni", for mezzo-soprano and piano, on texts by Giuseppe Ungaretti. Many of his works, however, reflect his love for nature, particularly for those alpine valleys in the Ossola region where he lives and grew up. With this in mind, he has devised unusual concerts, including night recitals at the fascinating Orridi di Uriezzo, at the Terme di Premia or at the historic hotel Cascata del Toce in Val Formazza. Choral experienceAfter having created and directed the San Gaudenzio Chorale for twelve years, taking care of religious services and some concerts for the parish of San Gaudenzio in the Monumental Church of Baceno, he has directed the ANA Alpine Choir of Domodossola, a men's choir, since 2017. The choir carries out an intense activity in the province of Verbania, and is invited annually both for Alpine gatherings (Piacenza, Milan, Trento...), and in singing festivals in the sector, from Emilia Romagna (Festival Come Canta la Montagna), to Sardinia. As director, he launched the 'Progetto Giovani', which is bringing new voices closer to singing and has also been widely reported in the national press, and the choral festival 'Così cantano gli Alpini'. The famous composer Fabio Vacchi harmonised four songs for this choir at the request of the director, which will soon be recorded on a disc. He has directed the women's choir Calicanto, based in Domodossola, since 2017. TeachingShe is passionate about teaching: she specialises in pre-school teaching from the age of 4 onwards using the Yamaha method. From 2008 to 2013 as a teacher and examiner for Yamaha courses in Vicenza, Schio and Monteviale (Veneto); currently at the "G. Floreanini" Secondary School for Music in Domodossola. Other and ElsewhereA passionate mineral researcher, he discovered a new species at Monte Cervandone, in the Veglia Devero Natural Park: the deveroite-(Ce). He collaborates as author of articles with the journal Mineralogica Italiana, and the Swiss journal Schweizer Strahler. An eclectic soul, he has also dedicated himself to writing short stories and texts on art (Ed. Pagine, Nuovi autori contemporanei, Storie d'autore series) and the visual arts, as part of the Fragilismo movement. He has lectured at the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Verona and at the IUAV University in Venice, and the Fondazione Vignato per l'Arte in Vicenza has dedicated a personal exhibition to him, Babel. For years he has been collaborating with the famous archaeologists Marilyn and Giorgio Buccellati on music for international touring exhibitions, from the USA to Germany to the Middle East.
