He studied guitar under the guidance of Claudio Conti, piano with Guerresca Pedrazzoli and singing with Lella Esposito. After studying at the Conservatory of Modena, he embarked on the road to professionalism, working regularly with pop music groups, theatre companies, tour operators and music schools in Italy and abroad. He studied composition and orchestration with Antonio Eros Negri. An expert in MIDI and musical informatics, he spent several months in Tokyo, where, in addition to his concert activity, he perfected his knowledge and use of professional digital audio equipment. In addition to electric bass, guitar and piano, he also plays drums and accordion.
He is known as one of the best a cappella arrangers in Italy. Since 1994 he has been the author of almost all the a cappella vocal arrangements of the quintet Alti & Bassi.
