Marco Saviolo

A harpist and composer from Turin, he studied the flute, Breton harp, singing and pedal harp, and has taken part in numerous projects and bands, from gothic metal to pop. Under the pseudonym Corso, he has three albums of ambient music ("Ambrosia 432", "Fabula Dura", "Protect"), for which he has received enthusiastic reviews worldwide. Corso's music blends the sound of the harp with voices and electronics. "Selva" was Marco Saviolo's first classical work, for harp and cello, with the aid of electronics and zills (finger cymbals). His new work, "Ursula" (for harp, strings, soprano, baritone and electronics) is entirely dedicated to the great American science fiction and fantasy writer Ursula K. Le Guin. Le Guin.
