Claudio Sanna

A graduate in piano and chamber music with top marks from the Sassari Conservatory, the Pinerolo Academy of Music and the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, he has performed as a soloist with the Sassari Philharmonic, the Fiesole Youth Orchestra and the Musici di Parma for various prestigious venues, including the Vatican Museums, Ehrbarsaal in Vienna, Teatro Comunale 'L. Pavarotti' in Modena, Teatro della Tosse in Genoa, Sala Vivaldi of the National Library in Turin, Filarmonica in Rovereto, Teatro Bibiena in Mantua, Teatro Comunale in Sassari and Auditorium comunale in Cagliari. He is particularly passionate about the chamber music repertoire, collaborating with the first parts of the Berliner Philharmoniker, Wiener Symphoniker, Teatro alla Scala, Arena di Verona, Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico di Vicenza. Among the most significant concerts he has performed in recent years, the performance of A. Schoenberg's Pierrot Lunaire with Sonia Bergamasco on vocals for the Festival "I Grandi interpreti della musica" in Sassari and La Petite Messe Solennelle by G. Rossini with the Coro Città di Parma for the Festival "G. Verdi" in Parma deserve special mention. He has collaborated with ADM Soundscape, a chamber ensemble specialising in the 20th century repertoire, with which he has performed for prestigious concert societies and theatres, performing some of the most complex contemporary works (Arpège by F.Donatoni, Tria ex uno by G.F.Haas) as well as several premieres written specifically for this ensemble. As a composer, he trained at the school of Emilio Ghezzi and Paolo Ugoletti, publishing his works for the Swiss label Hat Hut Records and the Portuguese publishing house Ava Edition. He currently works as a collaborating maestro for L'Arena di Verona, the Salso Summer class & festival in Salsomaggiore Terme, Musica e Natura in Porto Torres, in collaboration with Maestros Marco Zoni, Daniele Agiman, Antonio Amenduni, Alessandro Moccia, Marco Scano, Simonide Braconi, Cristhoph Hartmann, Marie- Francoise Pallot, Gabriele Croci, Vadim Brodski, Patrick De Ritis
