Salvatore Russo

Guitarist with over thirty years of professional and artistic career. Before dedicating himself completely to gypsy jazz, he worked with Adriano Celentano, Antonello Venditti, Pino Caruso, Celso Valli, Eros Ramazzotti, Ligabue, Patty Smith, Gianna Nannini, Riccardo Cocciante, Francesco De Gregori, Gianni Morandi, Ana Belen, Alfredo Paixao, Youssou Ndour, Phil Palmer, Michael Thompson, Franco Simone. He has five solo recordings to his credit in different styles, from rock to fusion to gypsy jazz. His first album of the same name, "Salvatore Russo", was followed by "Contact", "La Touche Manouche" (together with the great guitarist Stochelo Rosenberg), "Gypsy Jazz Trio" and finally "Mediterranima".
