Raoul Moretti

Raoul Moretti is a versatile and experimental harpist with a highly original approach to the instrument. Over the years, this approach has led him to develop an artistic path in search of a personal style. Today, he is one of the most innovative harpists with an international artistic trajectory, taking his harp into different musical worlds (avant-garde, pop-rock, world music, electronics, nu-dance, classical, free improvising) and other art forms (dance, painting, cinema, video-installations) and into many different environments (theatres, clubs, discos, homes, balconies, streets, stations, airports, professional studios, hospitals and medical centres). Today, he is one of the most sought-after harpists in the world for his use of the electric and electronic harp, and has been invited to perform in Italy, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Spain, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Poland, Greece, China, Hong Kong, Paraguay, Chile, Mexico, Venezuela, the French Caribbean, Dominica, Brazil, Argentina and Australia. In 2020 he won the 'L'artista che non c'era' award, and in duo with singer Beppe Dettori the 'Archivio Cervo' award and was a finalist at the Targhe Tenco, as best performer. He is the creator and artistic director of the International Festival Harps of the World.

He has collaborated with Fiorello, Leonardo Manera, Teatro Piccolo, video artists Olo Creative Farm, cellist Julia Kent, singer-songwriter Michele Gazich, poet Andrea Melis, writer Michela Murgia, singer Beppe Dettori, Laser Entertainment, among others. He has had the opportunity to share music on stage with Enrico Cremonesi's orchestra, among others Momix, Pino Daniele, Ramazzotti, Anastacia, Lenny Kravitz; and also Gavino Murgia, the Tenores di Bitti, Pinuccio Sciola, Tazenda, Davide Van de Sfroos, Guido Catalano, Pietro Pirelli, Giovanni Floreani, Claudio Milano, Wuji Ensemble, Manuel Rossi Cabitza, Leonarda Catta, Marco Bianchi, Don Joe. He has worked on recording projects with, among others, Paolo Fresu, Max Brigante, Interiors, Nichelodeon, Vad Vuc, Fantafolk, Cordas e Cannas, Franco Mussida. Over the course of twenty years he has played for major companies and brands and events in prestigious locations for important international agencies, among others: Milan Fashion Week, Salone del Mobile, Taste of Milan, Vinitaly, Champion's League Final, Agusta, Brother, Glo, La Collina dei Ciliegi, General Finance, Accredia, Heineken, Parmigiani Orologi, Consorzio Costa Smeralda, Yacht Club Porto Cervo.
