The Ferrara Saxophone Quartet was born from the encounter of four young musicians (Nazareth Conejero Calderon, soprano saxophone; Diana Pagotto, alto saxophone; Marco Accoroni, tenor saxophone; Carlo Bravin, baritone saxophone), who graduated brilliantly from the conservatories of Ferrara, Taranto and Cadiz and are currently specialising in Maestro Marco Gerboni's saxophone class at the "G. Frescobaldi" conservatory in Ferrara. They have studied and specialised in Masterclasses at international level with some of the most important Italian and European saxophonists (A. Bornkamp, C. Delangle, V. David, L. Mlekush, F. Mondelci, M. Marzi, M. Mazzoni, M. Gerboni, F. Alba). The members, some of them winners of national and international competitions, have played both as soloists and with various chamber ensembles, in numerous concerts in Italy and abroad, participating in important festivals such as "Settimane Musicali di Stresa e del Lago Maggiore", "Mixxer", "Mid Europe - International Wind Music Festival", "Vacanze musicali di Sappada", "Festival nei Suoni dei Luoghi". As a chamber music formation, the Ferrara Saxophone Quartet has had the opportunity to improve under the guidance of teachers such as M. Gerboni, F. Mondelci, M. Mazzoni, S. Lòpez. He had the opportunity to perform as soloist at the 'C. Abbado' municipal theatre in Ferrara and at EXPO Milano 2015.
