Fabrizio Aiello

Born in 1988, in July 2012 he graduated with top marks at the Conservatory of Music 'Niccolò Piccinni' in Bari, where he then attended the 2nd Level Academic Experimental Biennium in Harp, and in March 2015 he graduated in Musical Disciplines (soloist address) with top marks. At the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, she brilliantly obtained the final Diplomas of the Master of Advanced Studies in Harp with Susanna Bertuccioli and in Chamber Music with Giampaolo Pretto. She has taken part in various international Masterclasses and Workshops in harp, perfecting her skills with Elisabeth Fontan-Binoche, Luisa Prandina, Patrizia Tassini, Nicoletta Sanzin, Gabriella Dall'Olio, Lincoln Almada and Marcella Carboni. As Orchestra Professor, he has performed with prestigious institutions such as: Orchestra del Teatro Petruzzelli, Orchestra del Teatro di San Carlo, Cameristi del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Orchestra Giovanile Italiana, Orchestra Galilei, Orchestra Poliziana, Orchestra del Royal Northern College of Music of Manchester, Orchestra Filarmonica ONIVAS, Orchestra ICO della Magna Grecia, Orchestra Sinfonica del Conservatorio "Santa Cecilia" di Roma and Orchestra Sinfonica del Conservatorio "N. Piccinni', under the baton of renowned conductors such as Roland Böer, Luciano Garosi, Giampaolo Pretto, Juraj Valčuha, Carlo Goldstein, John Axelrod, Nada Matosevich, Alessandro Ferrari, Giampaolo Bisanti, Andris Poga, David Coleman, Giuseppe La Malfa, Edoardo Rosadini, Domenico Pierini, Maurizio Lomartire, Mariano Patti, Luciano Acocella, Paolo Carbone, Giovanni Pelliccia and Marco Angius. From July 2011 to July 2014, he was a collaborating orchestra professor at the 'Cantiere Internazionale d'Arte' Foundation in Montepulciano. He has performed at major International Music Festivals, such as the Ravello Festival (64th and 67th editions) with the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana and the Conservatory of Bari, and the Festival dei Due Mondi di Spoleto (59th and 60th editions) as a harp duo. Always with the same ensemble, he played at prestigious foundations, such as 'La Società dei Concerti' in Milan, 'Fondazione Walton - Giardini La Mortella' in Ischia, 'Amici della Musica - Arcangelo Speranza' in Taranto, 'Amici della Musica - Guido Michelli' in Ancona, etc. As a soloist with orchestra, he performed the Concerto in B flat by G. F. Händel with the 'Jonica Baroque Ensemble' of Grottaglie, the Concerto for Harp and Strings Op. 21 by J. B. Cardon with the 'Taras' Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Nadir Garofalo, and the 'Danses sacrée et profane pour harpe et orchestre' by C. Debussy with the ICO Orchestra of Magna Graecia, conducted by E Piero Romano and Lorenzo Passerini. Among the various awards he has received are the 2nd Absolute Prize at the 4th International Music Competition 'Lucia Iurleo', the Special Mention of Honour at the 6th International Harp Contest 'Suoni d'Arpa', the 2nd Prize at the 8th International Harp Competition 'Marcel Tournier' and the 1st Prize at the 1st International Competition 'Gioconda De Vito'. He edited the revisions, published by Preludio Edizioni, of the pieces commissioned to E Rodolfo Saraco and Palmo Liuzzi for harp duo. Also with Preludio, he published in February 2019 and May 2020 the collections Otto Sonate and Sei Sonate by Domenico Scarlatti, transcribed and revised for harp. He is Professor of Music at the "Plateja" Paritarian School Institute in Taranto. He is currently completing his studies attending the 2nd Level Academic Biennium in Chamber Music at the Conservatorio 'N. Piccinni' in Bari.
