DiMo

DiMo is a bizarre character. In the hubbub that surrounds us, he was quickly able to create a modern way of communicating and design a world of his own. A feat that is far from negligible. DiMo's world is made up of realism, irony, romanticism, but also simplicity, thanks to a direct and very effective language. His songs project us into a surreal, cartoonish universe, without neglecting moments of ironic reflection. His hidden alter ego leads him to write songs inspired by real life experiences and the contradictions of our society. DiMo first came into the limelight in 2006, enjoying great success as the author of songs for mobile phones: "Zizou Zidane Olé" (for several months in the Vodafone Live! Top Ten), "Socc Macher", and "La Juve in B" are among the most downloaded songs of the summer. Since February 2007, the advertising campaign for a well-known intestinal anti-microbial has been on air on TV with the song 'Io ci sarò'. In March 2007, Radio Deejay launched DiMo during the programme 'Sciambola', hosted by Albertino and DJ Angelo, with the tracks 'I'd like to meet Cecchetto' and 'Who's buying Cassano'. From that moment on, DiMo began to devote himself to his project in a more decisive and concrete manner. 'Superhero Without Credibility' is, officially, DiMo's first single, released in June. "Io ci sarò" was released on 20 September 2007. These two singles anticipate an album that is rich in content, fun, eclectic and decidedly original. In 2008, a new single was released: SOGNO TE.
