Many music editions, for example, publish by choir, proposing the purchase of a given <strong>minimum number<\/strong> of copies. It is taken for granted that a choir should buy a score for each member. Italy seems not to have understood this yet and is by far the most backward country in this respect. If you try to hand a file of photocopied sheet music to an American or German choir director, he will look at you dumbfounded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">I<strong> PRODUCTIVE PUBLISHING MECHANISMS<\/strong><br>The <strong>production mechanism <\/strong>behind each score is decidedly complicated: part <strong>from conception<\/strong> of the work, to its <strong>encoding<\/strong> written, to the <strong>drafting<\/strong> e <strong>layout<\/strong> in a music editing programme, to the <strong>control<\/strong> and checking that there are no errors, preparing any <strong>detached parts<\/strong>to the realisation of the <strong>cover<\/strong>and the purchase and generation of a<strong> ISMN code<\/strong> and a <strong>product barcode<\/strong>to the input of all data to <strong>database<\/strong>up to the <strong>publication<\/strong>to the <strong>distribution<\/strong> in the market and its <strong>promotion<\/strong> through today's marketing techniques that often involve the creation and sharing of expensive multimedia content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Perch\u00e9 \u00e8 importante rispettare il copyright: <strong>THE DAMAGE OF PHOTOCOPIES<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Buying a single copy and photocopying it, or worse, capturing it digitally and running it on the web, generates a <strong>vicious circle<\/strong>all those who contributed to the above production do not receive the compensation they expected and in the long run this i<strong>nurtures creativity<\/strong> and the <strong>entrepreneurial spirit<\/strong> producers, composers and publishers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Let's ask ourselves why in the USA or Germany, for example, choral and contemporary a cappella music has such a large following: new groups are formed every day and have access to a considerable number of potential works to perform.<strong>biodiversity<\/strong>\"of publishing catalogues. The money flow that is generated allows publishers to market <strong>new publications<\/strong> and the circle allows everyone to survive.<br><br><strong>SOME NUMBERS<\/strong><br>We do not have data in the music field, but according to those presented at the conference of the<strong>Italian Publishers Association<\/strong> 22 January 2020, piracy of physical and electronic books, i.e. the illegal downloading of texts in digital format, illegal photocopying, and outright counterfeiting of physical books at unauthorised printers, causes economic damage amounting to <strong>a quarter of book sales <\/strong>in our country, loss of revenue to the treasury of EUR 216 million, a loss of 8,800 jobs, also taking into account ancillary industries.<br><br>What we can assure you, dear customer, is that the price you paid (or will pay) for the album or sheet music purchased on Preludiomusic, goes entirely to remunerate all the people who helped to publish and distribute it (the author, the interpreter, the publisher, the copyist, the translator, the editor, the graphic designer, the printer, the publishing house employee, the distributor, the promoter, the bookseller, etc.). Molte edizioni musicali, ad esempio, pubblicano per coro, proponendo l'acquisto di un determinato <strong>numero minimo<\/strong> di copie. Si d\u00e0 per assodato che un coro dovrebbe acquistare uno spartito per ciascun componente. L'Italia sembra non averlo ancora compreso e, da questo punto di vista, \u00e8 il paese in assoluto pi\u00f9 arretrato. Se provi a consegnare un fascicolo di spartiti fotocopiato a un direttore di coro americano o tedesco, ti guarder\u00e0 esterrefatto.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph {\"style\":{\"typography\":{\"fontSize\":\"16px\"}}} -->\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">I<strong> MECCANISMI EDITORIALI PRODUTTIVI<\/strong><br>Il <strong>meccanismo produttivo <\/strong>che si cela dietro ad ogni spartito \u00e8 decisamente complicato: parte <strong>dall'ideazione<\/strong> dell'opera, alla sua <strong>codifica<\/strong> scritta, alla <strong>stesura<\/strong> e <strong>impaginazione<\/strong> in un programma di editing musicale, al <strong>controllo<\/strong> e alla verifica che non ci siano errori, alla preparazione di eventuali <strong>parti staccate<\/strong>, alla realizzazione della <strong>copertina<\/strong>, nonch\u00e9 all'acquisto e alla generazione di un<strong> codice ISMN<\/strong> e un <strong>codice di prodotto a barre<\/strong>, all'inserimento di tutti i dati a <strong>database<\/strong>, fino alla <strong>pubblicazione<\/strong>, alla <strong>distribuzione<\/strong> nel mercato e alla sua <strong>promozione<\/strong> attraverso le odierne tecniche di marketing che spesso passano attraverso la realizzazione e la condivisione di costosi contenuti multimediali.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:heading -->\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Perch\u00e9 \u00e8 importante rispettare il copyright: <strong>IL DANNO DELLE FOTOCOPIE<\/strong><\/h2>\n<!-- \/wp:heading -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph {\"style\":{\"typography\":{\"fontSize\":\"16px\"}}} -->\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">Acquistare una sola copia e fotocopiarla o, peggio, acquisirla in digitale e farla girare nel web, genera un <strong>circolo vizioso<\/strong>: tutti coloro che hanno contribuito alla produzione di cui sopra non ricevono il compenso che si aspettavano e a lungo andare tutto ci\u00f2 i<strong>naridisce la creativit\u00e0<\/strong> e lo <strong>spirito imprenditoriale<\/strong> dei produttori, dei compositori e degli editori.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph {\"style\":{\"typography\":{\"fontSize\":\"16px\"}}} -->\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">Domandiamoci come mai in USA o in Germania, ad esempio, la musica corale e quella contemporanea A Cappella hanno cos\u00ec vasto seguito: si formano ogni giorno nuovi gruppi che hanno accesso a un numero considerevole di potenziali opere da eseguire, potendo scegliere in una \"<strong>biodiversit\u00e0<\/strong>\" di cataloghi editoriali. Il flusso di denaro che si genera permette agli editori di lanciare sul mercato <strong>nuove pubblicazioni<\/strong> e il circolo permette a tutti di sopravvivere.<br><br><strong>QUALCHE NUMERO<\/strong><br>Non disponiamo di dati in ambito musicale, ma secondo quelli presentati al convegno dell'<strong>Associazione Italiana Editori<\/strong> il 22 gennaio 2020, la pirateria di libri fisici ed elettronici, ovvero il download illegale di testi in formato digitale, le fotocopie illegali, la contraffazione vera e propria di libri fisici presso tipografie non autorizzate, causa un danno economico pari a <strong>un quarto del fatturato di libri <\/strong>nel nostro paese, mancate entrate nell'erario per 216 milioni di euro, una perdita di 8.800 posti di lavoro considerando anche l'indotto.<br><br>Ci\u00f2 che noi ti possiamo assicurare, caro cliente, \u00e8 che il prezzo che hai pagato (o pagherai) per L'album o lo spartito acquistato su Preludiomusic, va interamente a remunerare tutte le persone che hanno contribuito a pubblicarlo e a distribuirlo (l'autore, l'interprete, l'editore, il copista, il traduttore, il redattore, il grafico, il tipografo, il dipendente della casa editrice, il distributore, il promotore, il libraio, ecc.).
