Verdi (Como) and A. Boito (Parma), where she graduated with top marks under the guidance of <strong>Cristina Carini.<\/strong> She then graduated in <strong>composition<\/strong> traditional at the Conservatorio G. Verdi in Como, under the guidance of <strong>Carlo Ballarini,<\/strong> always with top marks. She studied with Alexander Lonquich (Florence), Rosalyn Tureck (Oxford), Paolo Bordoni , Massimo Somenzi, Pier Narciso Masi, Maureen Jones, Enrico Bronzi and the Trio di Trieste.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He has played for important Italian halls and seasons, including the <strong>Musical Evenings<\/strong> and the <strong>Concert Society<\/strong> of Milan, the <strong>Ravenna<\/strong> <strong>Festival<\/strong>, the Theatre <strong>Social<\/strong> of Como, the Ridotto of the <strong>Theatre<\/strong> <strong>Regio<\/strong> of Parma, the Theatre <strong>Pavarotti<\/strong> of Modena for Giovent\u00f9 Musicale, the Theatre <strong>Ristori<\/strong> in Verona and performed in <strong>Switzerland<\/strong> (Teatro Sociale di Bellinzona, Auditorium Stelio Molo of RSI ReteDue, Longlake Festival Lugano), Croatia, Germany and Argentina.<br><br>He has collaborated as a pianist in the orchestra with the<strong>Cantelli Orchestra<\/strong>,\u00a0 e con I <strong>Musical Afternoons<\/strong>as soloist and co-soloist with OFI Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana, Orchestra da Camera di Mantova, Orchestra Camerata dei Castelli.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She is the pianist of<strong>i <em><a href=\"https:\/\/eventi.preludio.it\/artista\/kairos\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/eventi.preludio.it\/artista\/kairos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kairos Tango<\/a><\/em><\/strong> (quartetto con\u00a0 il quale affronta il repertorio del tango argentino dal classico al contemporaneo),\u00a0 del <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eventi.preludio.it\/artista\/cecile-ensemble\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/eventi.preludio.it\/artista\/cecile-ensemble\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">C\u00e8cile Ensemble<\/a><\/strong> (<\/em>women's quartet entirely dedicated to film music, a group for which she is also responsible for the arrangements) and initiated, with Argentinian pianist Juan Rivero, the <a href=\"https:\/\/eventi.preludio.it\/artista\/duo-gelfini-rivero\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/eventi.preludio.it\/artista\/duo-gelfini-rivero\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">piano duo <em>Gelfini-Rivero<\/em><\/a>with which they perform an original repertoire of Latin American folk music, specially arranged for the ensemble.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She is the pianist in the 'Romance del Diablo' project with saxophonist Marco Albonetti and OFI (Italian Philharmonic Orchestra)<br><br>Alessadra Gelfini ha inciso per Fabbri Editore (Concertino di Donatoni con Musicamorfosi), Tetraktys Music (<em>Alea<\/em> with Max Pizio and <em>Four-handed journey<\/em> with Elena Strati), ReteDue (<em>Caf\u00e9 Tango<\/em> with Max Pizio), Chandos Records (<em>Romance del Diablo<\/em> with Marco Albonetti and OFI, Italian Philharmonic Orchestra)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Da sempre molto attiva come compositrice e arrangiatrice, Alessandra Gelfini ha pubblicato\u00a0 alcuni suoi arrangiamenti con la casa editrice <strong>Prelude<\/strong>including his reworking for piano four-hands of \"<a href=\"https:\/\/www.preludiomusic.com\/en\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.preludiomusic.com\">An American in Paris<\/a>\"of <strong>George Gershwin<\/strong>Bela Bartok's Romanian Dances, again for the same ensemble, and his arrangement of \"<a href=\"https:\/\/www.preludiomusic.com\/en\/product\/married-life-from-up\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.preludiomusic.com\/prodotto\/married-life-from-up\/\">Married Life<\/a>\"by Michael Giacchino, for piano quartet.\u00a0<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alessandra Gelfini \u00e8 nata a Como e ha studiato pianoforte ai conservatori G.
