That night in Tintagel

An original but respectful elaboration of themes from Wagner's celebrated opera, for small orchestra and solo piano. Ideal to open a concert (the duration is about 10 minutes) or to accompany opera arias. A valid alternative to the famous extract Prelude and Death of Isolde, which, unlike this composition, requires a large orchestral ensemble. The palette of instrumental colours is fascinating and refined, with the piano providing an authentic romantic aura.
