We Are All Astronautsfirst work by Helois a 10-track concept album that weaves in a mix of electro vibes and visionary ambient and rock melodies.
Apollo, Challenger, Earth, Janus, Jupiter, Laika, Mars, Pluto, Uranus, Venus: these are the 10 parts of a journey through space that takes the listener to new worlds in a unique and engaging musical experience.
Passion for music and continuous research and experimentation of new forms of sound animate this album signed by Helo, a side-project created in 2021 by Alessandro Fanali, an experienced artist, multi-instrumentalist, music producer and voice of the electro synth pop project Modulaar.
This is how Alessandro Fanali describes the record:
"We Are All Astronauts represents a journey into space through music, a journey that takes the listener on a discovery of new worlds and musical styles. This is not just an album of electronic music, but within it we find various sound universes ranging from ambient music to rock/pop and even classical music. The warm, enveloping sounds of analogue synths will accompany you on this fascinating journey'.
This record is not only a journey through planets and space expeditions with uncertain and sometimes inauspicious outcomes, but it represents a collection of emotions that flow into a love for our planet, for nature and for every form of life, be it terrestrial or extraterrestrial. Close your eyes and let yourself be carried away by this flow, a true emotional work."
The sound of the album also took shape thanks to the collaboration with Simone Scardoni (co-producer) at the Galileo Music Studio in Somma Lombardo (VA). Mastering was handled by Andrea De Bernardi at Eleven Mastering Studio in Busto Arsizio (VA). The cover was designed by Yangjunjun2.
The album, on label Preludeis available digitally on major platforms and is complemented by video clips of the tracks Pluto and Uranus, created by Cottonbro.
