Angelo Cavallo

Angelo Cavallo (1984) graduated in trumpet in 2004 from the Ist. Mus. G. Paisiello in Taranto. He collaborates with Orchestra Haydn of Trento and Bolzano, the Cairo Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra da Camera di Mantova, Teatro Regio and A. Toscanini di Parma, Teatro Carlo Felice di Genova, Arena di Verona, Teatro alla Scala, Teatro la Fenice di Venezia, Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari, Orchestra della RSI. He has recorded for the Vatican, Rai Uno, Mediaset, RSI, Preludio Music, Azzurra Music and others. He has worked with Y. Temirkanov, W-D Haushild, P. Klinicev, A. Lonquich, Byron Fidetzys, D. Gatti, Arturo Tamayo, J. Valcua and others. He studied with A. Vizzutti, A. Lindemann, D. Simoncini, A. Tofanelli, M. Maur, F. Tamiati, A. Lucchi, S. Burns, A. Conti, A. Ciccolini, A. Tonelli, L. Benucci. In 2004 he won an audition for the Orchestra I.C.O. Della Magna Grecia where he held the position of First Trumpet until 2010. In 2010 he won the competition for Principal Trumpet at the Cairo Symphony Orchestra. In 2014 he won the competition for Principal Trumpet at the Daegu Symphony Orchestra (South Korea). He obtained a Master of Arts in Music Performance at the Cons. della Svizzera Italiana with Maestro F. Tamiati.
