Alter Ego

Alter Ego was officially founded in 2007 with the intention of pursuing a very specific project: to convey to the audience the emotions felt by the band on stage. This is why they are always on the lookout for new musical territories, performing any type of a cappella song they find interesting, regardless of genre or origin. Their repertoire includes spirituals and gospel songs, compositions from the Italian and foreign folk tradition, jazz from the 30s and 40s and pop from the 60s, all always a cappella. For the arrangements they also rely on the skilful hands of Mario Lanaro, Federico Donadoni, Enrica Balasso, Andrea T. Gambetti, Alberto Schirò, Claudia Favaro. As is often the case with young and old, they look up adoringly to certain myths: ears strained therefore to the King's Singers whose songs they are honoured to sing. The attempt of this 'Alter Ego Project' is to use passion to communicate emotion to the listener, with one shared key: 'harmonious' fun. Pure love for singing to always transmit to the audience.
